ZEPPELIN

Suspended hand-blown glass, steel cabling. 2017

The work is composed of multiple suspended glass elements conceived within a form that is reminiscent of a Zeppelin. This ethereal vessel is derived from the fundamental relations enabling passibility through space and projection through time: geometrical orientation and the radiation of light. Geometrical perspectives generate a movement through space as a waveform, suggesting the transmission of information travel and considering how mediation in-forms the reality of embodiment in light-time.
